Our History

The Perla Ballet is a non-profit youth ballet company from Northeast Florida. It consists of young dancers from the surrounding comunities.

The Perla Ballet is a proud member of the prestigious Southeastern Regional Ballet Association (SERBA) – regional organization of Regional Dance America. The Southeastern Regional Ballet Association exists to promote excellence in instruction, choreography, performance and production.  They offer regional and national networking between directors, choreographers and dancers.  In addition, they provide educational and scholarship opportunities for dancers and choreographers.

2011
St. Augustine Dance Conservatory was formed.

2014
The Perla Ballet was organized as a nonprofit.

2015
We became a member company with RDA/SERBA.

2017
The Perla Ballet was able to perform in the Regional Dance America 2017 National Festival in Phoenix, AR.

Our Mission

The mission of the company is to cultivate an enjoyment and appreciation for dance in our community and to use pre-professional training and full-length productions to enrich and educate youth in the art of dance.

Performance Opportunities

Performance Opportunities

The Perla Ballet performs multiple times each year and continues to grow in opportunity to perform. Seasonal performances include full-length ballets in the winter and spring. Additional opportunities include the annual regional and national festivals for Southeastern Regional Ballet Association.
